The story of The Flux Capacitors Band

The moment they hit the final note, a sonic time explosion rocked Hill Valley! Doc knew there was trouble on the event horizon. The very fabric of reality hiccuped, and when the smoke cleared—they were all still standing there, shocked and without words, but completely in-tact.

In 1887, Doc Brown had a wild idea: what if music could bend time? So he flew the Time Train forward to 1987 - where suitable gadgets to test his theory were available.
There, he built a supercharged amplifier, wired it to a flux capacitor, and convinced Marty McFly, Marty's dad George, his girlfriend Jennifer, and even good ol’ Biff Tannen to join him in a once-in-a-lifetime jam session.

Right next to them stood twisted, devolved, time-warped versions of themselves—mutated doppelgängers from a dimension of insane audio and infused with pure temporal energy. These alternate versions weren’t just copies… they were something else entirely! And to top it all off, Marty’s hoverboard was caught in the time field and mutated into human form!

While the real Doc & Co. scrambled to figure out what happened, their temporal clones grabbed their instruments, cranked up the volume, and vanished into the spacetime continuum.
Now, these reality-glitched rockstars roam the cosmic highways of time, playing chaotic gigs in historical moments they were never meant to be part of—leaving echoes of the ’80s, and 90's in places that never had them.
And back in Hill Valley the real Doc Brown has one mission: Track them down before they disrupt history forever.

Lead vocals by Sarge Symanowski as:
Marty McFIRE
[ The Hill Valley Hooligan ]
With a distorted timestream running through his veins, Marty's voice echoes across multiple timelines simultaneously. He can hit harmonics that reverberate across parallel universes, creating alternate versions of every song mid-performance. His self-lacing high-tops now hover an inch off the ground, forever glitching between 1985 and 2015.

Guitar by Brian Lanzarotto as:
Doc Rock
[ The Mad Shreddertist ]
Now an electrified, wild-haired rock lunatic, Docs radiation suit has been replaced with torn white skinny jeans. His guitar—now powered by miniaturized plutonium chambers—allows him to bend reality with each solo. He speaks only in Einsteinian riddles between songs.

Keyboards by Ryan Silverberg as:
THE HOVERLORD
[ The Floating Groove Machine ]
Having absorbed pure temporal energy, the Hoverlord now has a voice of its own, communicating in retro-futuristic synth tones. It plays a single synthesizer that sounds like ten; and glides effortlessly across the stage while dropping 8-bit arpeggios and intergalactic melodies.

Saxophone by James Blackburn as:
BifF TENOR
[ The Sexy Sax Man ]
Bifffs saxophone now controls alternate realities, allowing him to rewrite history mid-concert. He’s still a jerk, but in this timeline, he’s cool—a true time-traveling sax demon. He still tries to take over the band, and knock poor George McFire around but his solos are too good to kick him out.

Bass by Pat Moon as:
JeFFINER Punker
[ The Chrono-Goddess ]
Jeffiner’s basslines warp reality, creating time dilation fields that slow or speed up whatever they touch. His bass, strung with superstrings from the space-time continuum itself, can create pulses that freeze enemies in time. He keeps the groove steady, even when the laws of physics refuse to cooperate.

Drums by Miles Frank as:
GEORGE McFIRE
[ The Bringer of Thunder ]
Now possessing superhuman rhythmic precision, George has become a percussion prodigy capable of drumming in multiple dimensions at once. His drumsticks leave afterimages of past and future hits, making every beat exist across time. His confidence is off the charts, and he's finally embraced his inner rock god.

The special guests shown here have either performed with The Flux Capacitors, introduced the band, or attended our concerts. It's so rad looking back through the years and seeing them all in one spot. Wow!

Flux is the of the 30th and 40th anniversaries of Back to the Future!

It’s unheard of for a band to start as a tribute to a beloved film franchise and then find itself embraced by the very cast, crew, and studio behind it.
But that’s exactly the journey of The Flux Capacitors—a band that began as a nod to cinematic history and, against all odds, became a real part of it.

It sounds like it’s going to cost an arm and-a-leg to hire you guys. Will that be the case?
